Director of Photography (DoP) Alessandro Pavone Captures Pakistan’s Post-Flood Struggles for VICE on Showtime

Award-winning documentary Director of Photography and video journalist Alessandro Pavone recently traveled to Pakistan to film an episode for the documentary series VICE on Showtime, produced for VICE TV.

Shedding Light on Pakistan’s Recovery Efforts

Reflecting on the project, Pavone explains, “Nine months after catastrophic floods devastated much of Pakistan, the nation—home to over 240 million people—is grappling with an immense recovery effort at a time of economic and political instability. Our team journeyed to Sindh, one of the hardest-hit regions, to document the long-term impact of the disaster and the struggles of those affected.”

Essential Gear for Challenging Environments
