Alessandro Pavone is a cinematographer and producer/director based in Dubai. He specializes in nonfiction and commercials, and is known for his coverage of major international events. Alessandro has documented wars and humanitarian issues worldwide, earning him prestigious accolades such as two Emmy awards, a Peabody, and an Overseas Press Club’s Murrow award.
His portfolio includes documentary programs for various media outlets, such as VICE, HBO, BBC, Showtime, Apple TV+, ABC, PBS, The New York Times, and ESPN. His work has also been screened at film festivals around the world. Alessandro has also filmed branded films and commercials for entities like Facebook, Disney+, Hyundai, and Coach.
